 Σας  παρουσιάζουμε παρακάτω το κείμενο του εντύπου που θα συνοδεύει το ζωγραφικό τρίπτυχο που διανέμει η Βιβλιοθήκη μας και που με πολύ αγάπη και μεράκι επιμελήθηκε ο αγαπητός μας φίλος ζωγράφος Σπύρος Κουρσάρης.
Είναι γραμμένο σε 5 γλώσσες: Ελληνικά, Ιταλικά, Αγγλικά, Γερμανικά και Γαλλικά
επίσης το κέιμενο (στα ελληνικά) που έγραψε ο ζωγράφος είναι ανατύπωση του χειρόγραφου.

ΔΑΝΕΙΣΤΙΚΗ ΒΙΒΛΙΟΘΗΚΗ ΑΥΛΙΩΤΩΝ
Εδώ και 15 χρόνια, στους Αυλιώτες, στο βορειοδυτικότερο άκρο της Κέρκυρας, έχει δημιουργηθεί ένας πυρήνας αγάπης και
προβολής του βιβλίου, η «Δανειστική Βιβλιοθήκη Αυλιωτών». Στεγάζεται στο Πνευματικό Κέντρο του χωριού μας και, ήδη,
διαθέτει περίπου 10.000 τόμους ποικίλου ενδιαφέροντος, καθώς έχουν ανταποκριθεί με δωρεές βιβλίων αρκετοί από τους
πιο σημαντικούς φορείς του τόπου μας και πολλοί ιδιώτες.
Η Δανειστική Βιβλιοθήκη Αυλιωτών, φιλοδοξεί να συμβάλει στη γενικότερη ανάπτυξη του πολιτισμού στην περιοχή μας και
έχει βρει θερμή ανταπόκριση σε μικρούς και μεγάλους. Ενδεικτικά αναφέρουμε ότι κατά μέσο όρο διακινούνται ετησίως
περίπου 1.500 βιβλία.
Στο πέρασμα αυτών των χρόνων, η Βιβλιοθήκη μας έχει αποκτήσει πολύτιμους, αγαπημένους φίλους, ανθρώπους που
πραγματικά, με διάθεση ανιδιοτελούς προσφοράς, ενδιαφέρονται να υποστηρίζουν τις δραστηριότητές μας.
Ένας από αυτούς τους σπουδαίους, αληθινούς φίλους, είναι ο γνωστός ζωγράφος Σπύρος Κουρσάρης. Γεννημένος στην
Κέρκυρα, αλλά εγκατεστημένος μόνιμα στην Αθήνα, διατηρεί έντονες τις παιδικές μνήμες από την ιδιαίτερη πατρίδα του,
εμφορούμενος από μια διαρκή διάθεση νοερής επιστροφής.
Έχει στο ενεργητικό του δεκάδες ατομικές και συλλογικές εκθέσεις στην Ελλάδα και στο εξωτερικό, ενώ διδάσκει στο
Δημοκρίτειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θράκης «Αισθητική και Καλλιτεχνική Αγωγή».
Μια εκδρομή σ΄ ένα θαλασσινό τοπίο της περιοχής μας, «…στην άκρη του δυτικού ορίζοντα…», όπως ο ίδιος σημειώνει,
στάθηκε η αφορμή να το ζωγραφίσει με το δικό του, μοναδικό τρόπο και να προσφέρει αφιλοκερδώς στη Βιβλιοθήκη μας
τρεις εκδοχές αυτού του «…επιβλητικού ακροτόπιου…», για να τυπωθούν σε 150 αριθμημένα και υπογεγραμμένα από τον
ίδιο αντίτυπα, με τον ευγενή σκοπό να γιορτάσουμε τα δεκαπέντε μας χρόνια αλλά και να υποστηριχθούν οι στόχοι της
Βιβλιοθήκης μας.
Ευχαριστούμε πολύ τον καλό μας φίλο, ζωγράφο Σπύρο Κουρσάρη, που με την ιδιαίτερα συγκινητική και συμβολική κίνησή
του, μας οπλίζει με κουράγιο και δύναμη, καθώς και όλους εσάς που σας βρίσκουμε συμπαραστάτες στη προσπάθειά μας!

LA BIBLIOTECA DI AVLIOTES
Da 15 anni, ad Avliotes, nella punta nordoccidentale di Corfú, si é costituito un polo d’ amore e di promozione del libro, “La
Biblioteca di Avliotes”. Ubicata al centro culturale del nostro paese, dispone di circa 10.000 volumi di vario genere, grazie alle
donazioni molteplici dai piu importanti enti come tra molti privati.
La Biblioteca di Avliotes, che ambisce a contribuire allo sviluppo culturale in genere di questo territorio, ha trovato una
calorosa accoglienza tanto dagli adulti che dai giovani. Indicativamente, ci riferiamo al fatto che annualmente di media si
prestano circa 1.500 volumi.
Nel trascorere di questi anni, la nostra Biblioteca si é arricchita di preziosi amici, persone che realmente, con disinteressata
voglia hanno contribuito e si interessano a sostenere le nostre iniziative.
Uno di questi importanti e veri amici é il noto pittore Spyros Koursaris. Nato a Corfú ma residente ormai ad Atene, mantiene
forti i suoi ricordi giovanili del luogo natio, spinto da un nascosto desiderio di nostos, il quale ha segnato positivamente anche
il suo lavoro. Ha nel suo attivo decine di mostre personali e collettive, tanto in Grecia quanto all’ Estero, mentre insegna all’
Universitá Dimokritia “Estetica e Calitecnia”.
Una sua escursione in un luogo marino del nostro territorio “…all’ estremitá dell’ orizzonte occidentale…”, come lui stesso
lo definisce, é stata la causa per pitturare nel suo modo unico, e donare alla nostra Biblioteca tre prospettive di questo “…
imponente promontorio…”, per poi riprodurre 150 copie numerate e firmate da lui stesso, con il nobile scopo di festeggiare
con noi il quindicenale nostro, ma anche a sostegno degli obietivi della nostra Biblioteca.
Tanti grazie al nostro maestro e amico, il pittore Spyros Koursaris, che con il suo particolarmente commovente gesto simbolico,
ci da coraggio e ci rende forti, come anche a tutti voi, che ci state vicini nei nostri progetti!

THE LENDING LIBRARY OF AVLIOTES
During the last 15 years, in this village of Avliotes, right here at the northwestern part of Kerkyra (Corfu), we have created
a core of love and promotion for books through the Lending Library of Avliotes. The library is located in the Cultural Centre
of our village and it already contains more than 10,000 book volumes of varying interest thanks to the entities and persons
who have responded by donating these books.
The Lending Library of Avliotes aspires also to contribute to the general development of culture in our area and has found
an enthusiastic response from children and adults. Indicatively, we have figured that an average of 1,500 books is borrowed
from our library per year.
During these years, our Library has acquired valuable and beloved friends; people who are genuinely interested to support
our activities with a spirit of real selfless altruism.
One of these great, true friends is the well-known painter Spiros Koursaris. Born in the island of Kerkyra but living permanently
in Athens, he strongly maintains the memories of his childhood here in his homeland, helped by a constant mood of
mental return. He has performed dozens of individual and group exhibitions in Greece and abroad, while he teaches “Aesthetic
and Art Education” at the Democritus University of Thrace.
An excursion to a seaside scenery in our area, “at the edge of the western horizon” as he notes, stood the triggering event
for him to paint it on a triptych, on his own unique style, and to offer this triptych, three versions of this “imposing land’s
end”, to our Library as a present in order to be printed in 150 numbered and signed copies with the noble purpose of celebrating
our fifteen years of existence and supporting the objectives of our Library.
We would like to thank heartily our dear friend and artist Spiros Koursaris, as with his touching and symbolic gesture he arms
us with courage and strength as do all of you who support our efforts!

LEIHBUECHEREI AVLIOTES
In Avliotes, dem nordwestlichsten Ort Korfus, gibt es seit 15 Jahren ein Zentrum der Liebe zur Verbreitung der Buecher, die
“Leihbuecherei Avliotes”.Sie ist im Gemeindezentrum unseres Dorfes untergebracht und erhaelt bereits ca 10.000 Baende
vielfaeltiger Interessensgebiete, da wir Buchspenden von einigen der bedeutensten Vereine,als auch von Privatpersonen
erhalten haben.
Die Leihbuecherei Avliotes strebt an, zur allgemeinen Weiterentwicklung der Kultrur in unserer Gegend beizutragen und
hat positive Rueckmeldung von jung und alt.Wir weisen darauf hin,dass jaehrlich etwa 1.500 Buecher ausgeliehen werden.
In diesen Jahren hat unsere Bibliothek wertvolle und liebe Freunde gewonnen, Menschen, die wirklich mit bedingungsloser
Hingabe daran interessiert sind unsere Aktivitaeten zu unterstuetzen.
Einer dieser wichtigen, echten Freunde ist der bekannte Maler Spyros Koursaris, geboren auf Korfu, in Athen lebend ,der sich
die Kindheiterinnerungen seiner besonderen Heimat durch die staendige geistige Rueckkehr zu ihr bewahrte.
Seine Taetigkeit beinhalten dutzende Einzel- und Gemeintschaftsausstellungen in Griechenland und im Ausland, waehrend er
ebenfalls an der Dimikritio Universitaet Thraziens ‘’Aestetische und kuenstlerische Erziehung’’ unterrichtet.
Ein Ausflug zu einer Meereslandschaft unseres Ortes “.....am Rande des westlichen Horizons....”, wie er selbst anmerkt, galt
als Anlass, es auf seine eigene einzigartige Weise zu malen und uneigennuetzig unserer Bibliothek drei Versionen dieser ‘’….
imposanten Landschaft....’’ zu spenden, um sie in 150 numerierten und von ihm unterzeichneten Exemplaren zu drucken,
mit dem edlem Ziel unser 15 jaehriges Bestehen zu feiern, aber auch um die ziele unserer Bibliothek zu unterstuetzen.
Wir danken unserem guten Freund Spyros Koursarisn sehr, der uns mit seiner ausergewoehnlich ruehrenden und symbolischen
Geste mit Mut und Kraft ausruestet, wie auch euch alle, die uns bei unseren Bemuehungen unterstuetzen!

LA BIBLIOTEQUE D’ AVLIOTES
Il y a 15 ans, la Bibliothèque d’Avliotes, un noyau d’amour pour le livre particulièrement soucieux de sa promotion, a été fondée
au village d’Avliotes, l’extrémité nord-ouest de Corfou. Elle est abritée par le Centre culturel du village et possède déjà un fonds
de 10 000 volumes grâce aux dons d’un grand nombre de particuliers et d’institutions importantes de notre île.
La Bibliothèque d’Avliotes constitue, à notre sens, un foyer intellectuel rayonnant sur le plan local, avec un potentiel considérable
de développement, qui aspire à contribuer à l’épanouissement culturel de la région. Elle a été chaleureusement accueillie
par un public de tous les âges ce qui est révélé, entre autres, par les 1 500 livres environ qui sont empruntés chaque année.
Au fil du temps, notre Bibliothèque s’est fait de précieux amis, des gens qui, à travers leur contribution désintéressée, cherchent
à soutenir notre action.
Parmi ces vrais amis si importants est le célèbre peintre Spyros KOURSARIS. Né à Corfou, il est actuellement installé à Athènes.
Toutefois, il conserve intacts les souvenirs d’enfance de son pays natal et son oeuvre est considérablement marquée par sa
tendance de retour à la source.
Il a à son actif une multitude d’expositions individuelles ainsi que collectives et il enseigne l’« Education esthétique et artistique
» à l’Université Démocrite de Thrace.
Une excursion dans un paysage maritime de notre région, « …au bout de l’horizon occidental… » a été le point de départ pour
peindre de sa propre et unique façon trois versions de ce qu’il appelle « …la falaise imposante… ». C’est ainsi que 150 exemplaires,
numérotés et signés par l’artiste, ont été offerts gracieusement à notre Bibliothèque à l’occasion de la célébration du 15e
anniversaire de sa fondation afin de contribuer à la réalisation des objectifs qu’elle s’était fixés.
Nous tenons à remercier chaleureusement, notre très cher ami, le peintre Spyros KOURSARIS de ce geste symbolique qui
nous touche tout particulièrement et nous donne de la force et du courage pour la suite ainsi que vous tous qui soutenez
nos efforts.

Trittico. Tre visioni pittoriche con lo stesso tema. Tre prospetive, una trilogia in una riproduzione digitale, in copie numerate e firmate in carta
litografica “fabriano”. Cari amici, Era occasione propizia la vostra accoglienza e l’imponente promontorio che mi avete regalato. Per tanto vi
ringrazio. Una meravigliosa escursione nel nascοsto isolato angolo di mare, sulle pendici del paese e sul sovrastante uliveto, ai costoni, un’
avventurosa discesa e risalita. I ricorrenti protagonisti sono vostri, miei, dell’ escursione e dell’impressa memoria. Invalicabile dalle moderne
estetiche, luogo icalpestabile, dai primordiali archetipi odori dell’ estate, congiunti con la vissuta luce del nostro luogo, all’ estremitá dell’ orizzonte
occidentale.

A triptych. Three artistic versions of the same theme. Three variations, a digitally reproduced trilogy, with numbered and signed replicas on
FABRIANO lithographic paper. Dear friends: The triggering event was your presence and the imposing landscape that you granted me. I thank
you for this. A wonderful excursion to the mystic, solitary seashore, from the outskirts of the village and the raised olive grove to the cliffs, an
adventurous walk downhill and uphill. The alternating protagonists are faces of yours, faces of mine, faces of the excursion and of our recorded
memory. Impervious to modern aesthetics, this impassable landscape, into the ancestral, primordial, seductive scents of the summer, woven
with the sensed light of our homeland, at the edge of the western horizon.

Triptychon. Drei bildnerische Ausdrücke zum gleichen Thema. Drei Variationen, eine Trilogie in digitaler Reproduktion, in nummerierter und
signierter Auflage, auf lithographischem Papier „FABRIANO“. Liebe Freunde, Inspiration wart Ihr, und die imposante Landschaft, die Ihr mir
geschenkt habt. Ich danke Euch dafür. Ein wunderbarer Ausflug in das Geheime, Einsame, Abgelegene, von den Randbezirken des Dorfes und
den mit Olivenbäumen bewaldeten Höhen zu den Abgründen, ein abenteuerlicher Abstieg und Aufstieg. Die sich abwechselnden Protagonisten
haben eure Gesichter, meine Gesichter, die des Ausflugs und der Erinnerung. Von moderner Ästhetik undurchdrungen, eine unberührte
Landschaft mitten in den ursprünglichen, altererbten, berauschenden Gerüchen des Sommers, verbunden mit dem gleißenden Licht unseres
Ortes am Rande des westlichen Horizonts.

Un triptyque, trois versions picturales du même sujet, trois approches différentes, la reproduction numérique d’une trilogie, des exemplaires
numérotés, signés et imprimés sur papier lithographique « Fabriano». Chers amis, Votre présence et cette vue de la falaise imposante que vous
m’avez offerte sont à l’origine de cette oeuvre. Je vous en remercie. Une excursion merveilleuse sur cette côte secrète et solitaire : de l’orée
du village et de l’oliveraie surélevée, à la falaise, une descente et une montée aventureuses. Les protagonistes qui s’alternent sont des personnages,
les vôtres, les miens, ceux de l’excursion et d’autres gravés dans la mémoire. Paysage impénétrable, inaccessible à toute esthétique
contemporaine qui baigne dans des parfums enivrants de l’été, ancestraux, primaires, intrinsèquement liés à la lumière vécue de notre pays, au
bout de l’horizon occidental.
